Very few roses share this attribute with My Yellow; the sun does not fade the yellow hue, it deepens the colour. However, as the degree of ultra violet light varies, this attribute can sometimes be absent.

My Yellow was awarded a Gold Medal at the Toowombva State Garden Rose Trial Garden and a Silver Medal at the National Rose Trial Garden of Australia in Adelaide.
