Precious Cosette Mae Verdu was just five years old when she sadly passed away on Good Friday, 2022.She spent over half her life in the Royal Children’s Hospital and despite many challenges, she was the bravest, most courageous warrioress and had the best sense of humour, touching everyone’s hearts.
Cosette had a rare life-limiting condition, requiring a bone marrow transplant at just 22 months old. Her medical needs increased over time. Cosette’s amazing specialists, therapists, nurses and organisations provided ongoing care and support. Her family will be forever grateful for their dedication and expertise.
Cosette enjoyed guacamole, meat pies, icy poles and salt and vinegar chips when she could eat. She loved spending time at home with her family, having adventures big and small, going to the park, cafes, music, cooking, crafts, barbies, games, winning bingo lingo, fun with Starlight Captains, meeting The Wiggles, and special experiences at three-year-old kinder.
She called herself Madam Hot Beans and loved the colour hot pink!
